Valentine’s Day – What is important about Valentine’s Day to you?
Valentine’s Day is not really that important to me because I am not very good at expressing emotions and I believe that is what Valentine’s Day is all about, expressing emotions. The emotions expressed on Valentine’s Day are love, devotion and happiness.
Valentine’s Day is just another day for me. At this point in my life, I am not wanting to share my emotions with anyone not just because I am shy but also because I can’t figure them out for myself. My life is very complicated right now.

There is one man that I am head over heels in love with. I love everything he stands for and everything he does. He is very special to me.

Jealous – Are you a jealous type of person?
I hate to admit this, but I am a very jealous person. I get so jealous when I see the man I love with someone else. It just eats away at me. Now, I am also the type of person that won’t say anything about it either. I bottle it up inside for months and then one day, I just blow my top.
I have gotten way better over the years with jealousy because I have learned that I have to trust the man I love. Trust to me goes hand-in-hand with jealousy.

Broken Heart – Do you remember the first time you had a broken heart?
I don’t really remember the first time I had a broken heart because I have had so many of them in my life. I am past the point of caring whether my heart gets broken anymore.
If I am in a relationship, I more or less except to get a broken heart. That way when it happens I am not going to be disappointed. I do believe I have found the one person in my life that will never break my heart so I don’t think I have to worry about it.

True Love – Have you ever found your true love?
I have found my true love. My one true love is devoted and affectionate and very cuddly. My true love is my kitten, Arrow. Arrow is the sweetest little kitten ever.
I have had Arrow now for about a year. I got him last April. Arrow is black and white and has two arrow markings. One is on his forehead and the other is on his back. Arrow has an extra toe on each of his front paws but I think that is why I love him so much. He is a very special kitten to me.

Depressing - What is depressing in your life?
The fact that I am going through so much pain is very depressing in my life. I have been fighting back pain now for over 14 months. It gets better and then something happens to put it out again.
I have been trying so hard not to get depressed over my pain but sometimes it is a very hard thing not to do. I am trying to cope the best way I can and I am trying to get things done even though the pain is sometimes very overwhelming.

I don’t like surprises at any time of the year but if I had to have a surprise for Valentine Day, I guess that surprise would be to go out for dinner and a movie.
I have just recently started going out to movies. I haven’t seen a movie in a theatre for years. Then my friends started going to movies and so I went with them. It was a lot of fun.

Groundhog Day – Do you want the groundhog to see his shadow?
I do not want the groundhog to see his shadow. If the groundhog sees his shadow there will be six more weeks of winter. So, I want the groundhog to not see his shadow because that would mean spring is just around the corner. We have been very lucky here in Kamloops, BC this January. It actually is one of the warmest January’s ever.
I do not like winter and cold weather. I like heat and warmth. Summer is my favourite month. I want spring to be right around the corner.

Prairie Dog – Have you ever seen a prairie dog?
I have seen several prairie dogs. They were in the Winnipeg Zoo. I love prairie dogs. They are really cute.
Prairie dogs are a lot like ground squirrels and I have seen lots of ground squirrels. I did not see them in a zoo. I’ve seen them in the wild. I love watching ground squirrels. They have a network of holes under the ground and you never know when they are going to pop their heads up or where they are going to be.

I Don’t Want To - What is the one thing you really don’t want to do?
The one thing that I really don’t want to do is to be stuck not being able to walk. That scares me more than anything else. However, it does look like some day that just may happen.
I have bulged discs and have been fighting severe back pain for about 14 months now. There have been a number of days where I could not walk at all. I never know from one day to the next if I am going to be able to walk. The pain is just so extruiating.
