My Journal Writing Entry – The journal topic for today is desert rains. I live in the northern section of Canada’s only desert, which is located in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. Today it is raining outside and with the rains there are overcast skies and a strong wind. We don’t get rain very often. We have been having over 30 degree Celsius weather for over a week now. It is very dry here. We definitely need the rain because with the dryness come forest fires.
