Mountain Life - Have you ever lived in the mountains?
I have not actually lived “IN” the mountains, but I presently live in an area surrounded by mountains. I have a small mountain right out my front door, on the other side of the street from me.
I love living in the area that I live in. I live in Kamloops, BC, Canada. We are considered a semi-desert area. In the summer we get temperatures that are 40 degrees Celsius or higher. We have fairly mild winters usually. I love the wild life that I see in the mountains. I have seen coyotes and mountain sheep in the mountain across the street from me.

I’ve lived on a secluded mountain top in the Blue Ridge range since 1986. I live in a log home, with log outbuildings, on a piece of property 10 acres in size, bordered by national forest. I have no neighbors.
Frank, thank you so much for your comment. It sounds like heaven where you live. I am roughly in the same position, only I live on the west coast. I have seen the Blue Ridge mountains when I was younger and they are very pretty.
