My Journal Writing Entry – Racing

The journal topic for today is racing. My family loves speed and fast cars. We are adventurous, we are crazy, but we are us. My Grandfather loved to race speed boats and motorcycles.

My dad loves cars too. He never really got into racing but I think the rush of racing is in his blood. He loves watching car races on television and he has seen a number of races live.

The best car my dad ever owned was a 1932 Model A Ford. My dad fixed that car up so nice. When he first got it, it was stripped right down to nothing, no seats, no floorboards, no nothing. My dad put a lot of work and effort into that car. It was an awesome car.
