My Journal Writing Topic - Have you gotten the flu this year?

I was very unfortunate to get the flu this year. I am usually one of those people that never get sick but because my immune system was weakened from other issues I am having this year, I got the flu and I got it bad.

I do not know if it was the H1N1 flu that I had because they never actually tested me for it.Whatever it was though, this flu was terrible. I was sick for nine days in total and almost two weeks later am still having some of the symptoms from it. This flu left me very weak. The one day I thought I was completely over it, I went out and got gas and oil for my car. I ended up falling backward then falling forward, hitting my face on my car window and then I falling onto my knees. My whole right side from my toes right up to my face were pretty sore and bruised. I was lucky though that I didn’t break any bones and that my face actually didn’t bruise.
