My Journal Writing Entry – Windy

The journal topic for today is windy. The wind blows here a lot. I live in Kamloops, BC and we have a lot of windy days. Sometimes the wind gets so bad that we have had dust storms here in the summer time.

Dust storms can be very dangerous. When in the middle of a dust storm you have to keep your eyes covered up because dust particles could get in them and cause damage to your eyes.

We do need wind though because if there was no wind we would probably burn to a crisp in a matter of seconds. The wind does help cool the temperatures down.
